New Tea Bag Machine for Pyramid Teabags
Over several decades the automatic teabag machine has become increasingly more sophisticated offering greater advantages to the tea packer.
The design and development of the new Epanie pyramid teabag machines is the brainchild of Andrew Kim. The rise in popularity of pyramid-shaped tea bags led Andrew Kim of Epanie, located in Seoul, South Korea, to create a machine that incorporates many advantages over previous designs of tea bag machinery.
With the special blending and feeding system through eight load cells, Kim’s Epanie pyramid teabag machine is able to pack any type of tea and herbals including lemon grass, rooibos, pai mu tan and camomile without fear of breaking and crushing. The machine can also pack coffee, herbs, salt and similar products. The automatic blending and feeding system is patented.
Epanie, has been manufacturing pyramid teabag machines since 2007 designed and produced for the local market in Asia. With manufacturing facilities in South Korea, Epanie is now starting to export the machines with sales offices in the USA, Europe and Asia. A team of engineers based in USA, UK and Sri Lanka is now in place and on hand to carry out all the commissioning and servicing requirements.
The machines are fully computerized for the modern factory with Ultrasonic Sealing and Cutting. The standard machines operate at a speed of up to 85 teabags per minute with easy access for maintenance and cleaning.
It is possible to pack pyramid teabags with or without the outer envelope, with or without the tag and also rectangular teabags without the string. The machine has been designed to handle biodegradable material.
The triangle mesh bag has become the blueprint, allowing users to view the contents and smell the aroma. The PLA biodegradable mesh bags have become the industry favourite but nylon and polyester are also available.
The machine comprises the heat sealed outer envelope machine, which has the facility for gas-flushing the overwrap. For more information about Epanie pyramid teabag machines, contact gidon1@gate.net for the Americas, info@kaffina-ltd.com in Europe and lalindrad@gmail.com in Asia.
