From Decaf to Green
Tea Talk Forum

by Ian Grant
(Scotland)

One of my childhood memories are my mother would always have a nice pot of tea on the cooker and top up her cup through out the day "the stronger the tea got the better it tasted" she would say.

Her tea cup stained she never bleached it & if you decided to give it a clean then that was it - the tea just didn't taste the same out of a nice clean cup lol.

For years i drank tea just like my mother then switched to coffee - shame of it - i think she thought i was going all posh coffee was for those other people with perfect lives and lovely gardens. Then i switched to de caffe (decaf) as i was drinking too much coffee and getting palpitations and trouble sleeping at night - serves you right i hear you all say lol - But wait for it !

i have now discovered i love the taste of Green tea, so easy to drink and very pleasant taste.

MY QUESTION IS" HOW MANY CUPS OF GREEN TO CAN I DRINK? without running to the loo or is there no limit are there any health risks in drinking to much -i have 2-3 cups a day is this ok? hope someone can answer this thx. sorry for the long winded story :-)
